I know I haven't posted about us in a long time, and I don't really have time to right now, but that music video above is so cool I had to share it.

Happy New Year everyone. Hope your 2010 is great.

Walking?

So, Kara was 9 months old yesterday. Today, she took 5 steps by herself. She's been standing on her own occasionally for a week or so, and walking with assistance for longer than that, but she sure is close to walking. Its awesome and scary at the same time :S

Also, we are dedicating Kara at church this Sunday. 11am at Coquitlam Alliance Church, 2601 Spuraway Avenue.

Gah

I haven't been here in forever. I've got so many things I want to post, but I don't know when I'll get around to them.

Our Christmas tree is up, its nice. Kara was really interested in it, but so far hasn't tried to stand up on it or pull it over, thankfully.

I'll try to get to everything else soon, really!

Teeth, and tired

Kara popped out two more teeth yesterday morning, which means she has 4. She's working on two more on the top still, which has made for not good sleeping. That combined with staying up late on Friday to play Robo Rally with Ricky and Audrey means we're both exhausted right now.

Other than that, life goes. My mom and sister were over yesterday, which was nice. My girls sure love Grandma.

Church day today. Chloe is finally happy to go to Sunday School, and we can get Kara to stay in nursery at least half the time.

Mark is working on a 3D mini-competition last week and this week, which means even though he's home, he's not really around to help out with stuff. Its different that when he's at work though, because the girls still want to see him, and he still emerges every once in a while to get a drink or have meals with us. Overall, its good but a bit strange.

Lets see....

Kara is now 8 months old, and is still working on those two top teeth. Moving her to the crib is going slowly, but it is working well for naps.

Chloe is as hyper as ever.

Mark is still off work, and we're still waiting for EI to kick in. It has resulted in us getting a lot of chores done, though.

Not sure why, but I'm feeling a little down this week. I haven't been sleeping well (neither has Kara, that's part of the problem), and for some reason life just seems a little overwhelming. *sigh*

Right now my mom is over, and she's going to watch the girls so Mark and I can go out for coffee. Yay mom! :)

Teeth!

Kara now has two teeth on the bottom, and is working on pushing some through on the top. In two weeks she has gone from none to almost 4. Of course, it means she's cranky and not sleeping properly :P On top of that, we've decided its time for Kara to move out of our bed and into her crib. Here's hoping that goes well...

Tomorrow is a bi-election here in New West/Coquitlam, so we have to choose who to vote for AGAIN :P But we will vote.

10 years

I have been SO busy that I'm only just getting around to this.

Yesterday was November 4. It was also 10 years of Mark and I as a couple. Absolutely amazing, huh? I feel so blessed to have him as my husband, and friend. Here's to another wonderful 10 years!

Oh yeah, Kara also has a tooth!

Dragon goes rawr

Chloe was a dragon for Halloween. When I asked her at the beginning of October what she wanted to be, she said "a monster." So I looked up a few kinds of monsters on google, showed her some monster costumes, and she decided that a dragon monster was what she wanted to be.

My mom and I sewed the costume. Lots of people commented on it, saying how cute Chloe was. Unfortunately, Kara didn't go out with me and Chloe because she was napping.

Here's our sweetheart :D

Happy (day after) Thanksgiving

I know I should update this more often, but oh well. Here's what we've done in the last week:

Thursday Oct 8, Mark and I went to Distant Worlds: The Music of Final Fantasy performed by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and the UBC Opera Ensemble. It was FANTASTIC. We loved the music and it was great to get out without our girls. It did make me miss the days of high-school band and choir though; I like music.

On Friday the 9th, Chloe and I went to see The Wiggles in concert. While the concert was great and Chloe had fun, getting to and from the Arena at UBC was a nightmare. It took us almost 2 hours to get there, and we were 20 minutes late for the concert. The concert ended at 8, we got to our car at 8:20, and finally got to leave the parking lot at 8:40. Mark had Kara, and they did not have a good evening. In other words, I don't think I'll ever go to an event at UBC in the evening again, and I won't leave Mark alone with Kara for more than an hour or two.

Saturday was Thanksgiving dinner with my mom & her family that lives out here. We went to Rob & Karen's in Mission. It was fun. Chloe stayed over at my Mom's Saturday night, which was a nice break for us. Then Sunday was dinner at Mark's parents; my mom dropped Chloe off there for us, and ended up staying for dinner. It was nice to see all our parents at the same time.

Monday was just a nice relaxing day at home with daddy, though Mark did go see Inglorious Basterds with Blair in the afternoon. I think he liked it...?

The only other important thing is that Kara is now truly crawling, and is pulling herself up to stand ALL THE TIME. She really likes it. She is slowly getting more stable, but still falls over a lot. Though at least she is learning to avoid hitting her head most of the time.

Oh yeah! I am part of a group of people at our church making quilts for an orphanage in the Philippines. It is our goal to make 40 or more quilts (they'll each be about 36" square) by March. So if you have any extra 100% cotton fabric laying around, let me know. Please spread the word on our need for fabric. Thanks!

Updateish

So many things have happened this week. Lets start the list!

Kara is pulling herself up to standing on objects already! She's still super wobbly though, and has taken quite a few falls, which has led to a lot of cries.
On Tuesday when it was raining a lot, we told Chloe that it was fall, and that the summer sun was gone. To which she said, "It has lots of rainy days!" It made us laugh. She's so smart to figure that one out.

Chloe has been playing with our across-the-street neighbour a lot these past two weeks. Her name is Ayla, and she's also 3.
Mark got a computer set up behind our TV so that we can watch anime, etc. on it. Chloe has observed that we can turn our TV into a computer. Kara is also enthralled with the mouse, since it glows red and all.

Uncle Lee bought a Disney Princess play mat set for Kara. She's enjoying it.
While Chloe isn't in preschool this fall, she is in dance class and sports school. Dance class is fun because she gets to prance around in her body suit and tutu, and sports school is great because she can run around.

And a reminder that the premiere of Stargate Universe is tomorrow night at 6pm on Space Channel!

Stargate Universe

Today we went to a special "cast and crew" screening of the first three episodes of Stargate Universe. It was at the Rio Theatre on Broadway. It was totally awesome to see it on the big screen, and to see stuff Mark has made in it. We both really enjoyed the show. If you are interested in watching it (watch it! Mark worked on it!), it will be on Space (channel 45 in the lower mainland) on Friday October 2 at 6pm.

Also, thanks to my mom for watching the girls so we could go see it!

a fort!

Kara sitting under daddy's computer chair :)

Kara is now sitting up on her own from laying down on the floor. She's still a bit wobbly, and will all of a sudden fall backwards. She either gets scared on bumps her head on something, so we've had a few cries the last few days. But we're super proud.

6 months!

Today is Kara's unbirthday. She has been a wonderful part of our family for half a year. We are so blessed by her smiles, kisses and love.

Kara is almost crawling. She has figured out how to get up on hands and knees, but hasn't quite grasped that by moving each limb one at a time, she can propel herself forward. Its just a few days away though, I think.

This past weekend, we attended the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) in Seattle. We took Kara with us, as well as our cousin Kory and nephew Tim. We had a good time, but it was a lot of work to take care of Kara and see even half of the stuff we wanted to. I also was part of the Cookie Brigade, a group of attendees that bakes cookies and then give them away in exchange for donations to Child's Play. We raised almost $5,000. Makes me proud.

While we were in Seattle, Chloe went with my mom to Victoria. She also had a great time. She went to a fair, visited the beach, and spent time with lots of my family. It was nice for all of us to be back home though.

Well, off I go to make dinner and finish cleaning up the mess that resulted in rushing to get ready for PAX and not yet finishing putting stuff away from getting home.

Happy Birthday Chloe!

Wow! Our big girl is 3 today! Its amazing to think that we have had 3 precious years with her so far. Of course, they've been 3 pretty crazy years as well.

Here are some pictures from her party on Saturday. I made her a Swiper the Fox (from Dora) cake, she was really happy. We had a lot of fun.

Yesterday we went to Abbotsford to visit Mark's cousin Steve in the hospital. Then we went to his house and hung out with his wife Carolyn and their two daughters. Each of their daughters is about 2.5 months older than our girls, so Chloe and Anna had a great time playing. Kara and Laura had a great time making faces and smiles at each other, and grabbing for each other too. It was a lot of fun, even if Steve wasn't there to participate. But Carolyn says he gets to come home today, hooray! For more, see this post on their blog.

Look, ma!

Wow! Up on ands and feet! This started yesterday around lunch time. Kara is basically doing a push-up. Of course, when she goes back down to the floor, she's moved back about an inch, so she really is inching backwards! Its truly amazing. I think she'll be crawling soon.

Big girls and happy girls

Yesterday, Chloe proved to me how much she is growing and learning. We were in her room talking and playing after her evening bath, and out of no where she said "and its a Chloe constellation!" I was all "what did you just say?!?" and very impressed. I can only assume she got that word from TV, since its not exactly an every day word. Still, it shows that she's picking up new things and turning more and more into a little person :)

Also, on Saturday my mom was over, helping us around the house and taking care of our girls. We were eating dinner, and Kara was sitting up happily in her little blue chair. She's only 5 months, and already sitting so well, as long as she has a little bit of support! My mom says to Kara "don't you know babies aren't supposed to be so happy? They're supposed to cry and fuss." To which Mark replied "Shhh! Don't tell her that!" Kara is such a wonderful little girl. She only cries if she's hurt (duh!), tired, hungry or needs to pee/poo. Otherwise she's happy and content, giving smiles all the time, and some giggles too. She's babbling a bit now, and its really sweet to hear. Infant potty training with Kara is also going well. We catch about half of her pees, and 90% of her poos, which means a lot less messy diapers, and no nasty diaper rash. Hooray!

We are so blessed to have our little girls.

The Big Bang Theory

is an AWESOME show. Watch it!

So many things

Wow, so much has happened over the last week and a half, so I apologize now for how long this post might be.

First off, Mark had an icky birthday, but we had a really nice semi-surprise party for him the day after. Of course, Mark ended up working the 15th & 16th, right in the middle of his hiatus. Which reminds me, Mark started work again today. We have loved our daddy being home so much, it is quite a shock to me and Chloe for him to be gone again.

Right before Mark's birthday, we went to his brother Lee's house for a weekend. We had a really good time, but lost a lot of sleep. We got there Friday afternoon, and left Monday afternoon. Chloe woke up at 6:30 on Saturday, and 5:40 Sunday/Monday :( It was really bright and really warm in our room in the mornings :P

After Mark's birthday, my best friend Coral came down from Trail for a visit. While she was here, we visited the BC Renaissance Festival, went out for yummy food and relaxed. It was nice. I had really missed her.

Over the weekend was the crazy awesome light show (and fireworks too). We got wet. Then Sunday we went to Ruby's 3rd birthday party, then Mark's parents for dinner. And in less than a month it's Chloe's birthday!

Here's two pictures to end the post:

Chloe at 4.5 months

Kara at 4.5 months

Happy Birthday Mark

Hooray, Mark is 27! Happy birthday to our husband and daddy, we all love you very much.

Home

We are home from our trip to Lee's up in Vernon. We had a great time, but it sure is nice to be back. I would love to post pictures for you, but I kind of forgot that we brought our camera along :P If I can get Lee to email me some pictures I'll post them then.

While we were at Lee's, Chloe woke up way too early. 6:30 on Saturday, and 5:40 Sunday and today. It was really hard to drag myself out of bed to deal with her :P Though on the up side, she did nap both Sunday and today. In fact, we managed to get 3 hours of our trip home done with both our girls asleep - hooray!

I sure do love my own bed, which is where I'm headed now.

Daddy Home Days

Today is the end of day 7 of Mark's 30 day hiatus. Or, in other words, Mark has a lot of "daddy home day"s in a row. We've been hanging out, doing chores, enjoying our neighbors' pool, and staying up way too late even though we know we should try to catch up on sleep. We're going to go visit Mark's brother Lee and his kids in Vernon next weekend, and the weekend after that, our friend Coral (I met her in Lethbridge) is coming down here to visit us. While she's here, we're going to go to the BC Renaissance Festival, which just happens to be (mostly) run by one of Mark's co-workers.

Also, our internet and phone line went down at 1pm on Tuesday, and didn't come back until noon on Thursday. We weren't happy, to say the least. However, it did result in Mark finishing this:

Hey, we have time right now, so if any of you wanna come visit, let us know!

Our girls (are cute and awesometastic)

Here are some pictures of our girls from the last few days :)

Kara having tummy time, and Chloe playing peek-a-boo

Chloe being awesome

Chloe and Kara watching TV

Chloe likes her little sister most of the time, though I know she gets frustrated with the amount of time I spend feeding Kara. Kara absolutely adores her big sister, and some of Kara's best smiles are when Chloe is on the receiving end. We are so blessed to have two beautiful daughters!

Happy Daddy's Day

Happy Father's Day to the best father my girls could ever have. Mark is amazing - he provides so much for us, both by working and by showing us all how much he loves us. We are so blessed to have him as our husband and daddy. Thank you so much for all you do, we love you more than we could ever say.

Things are going well in our house, except for Chloe's randomly changing sleep schedule... one day she sleeps in until 8 am, then next day she's up at 6:15 - and she's always in bed between 7:45 and 8! It makes no sense. Mark needs more sleep, I'm doing all right. Kara is a wonderful sleeper, she goes to sleep between 8:30 and 9:30pm, wakes up once or twice at night for a quick snack, and sleeps until 8 or 9am. I really love the mornings I can leave Kara in bed and spend a bit of time with just Chloe while we eat our breakfast.

It's looking like Mark is going to have a few weeks off in July, which will be a nice respite for all of us. We can catch up on sleep and do fun things - like swimming in our neighbors' new pool, or going to the water park.

Well, off to bed now, I need sleep.

Happy Birthday Danielle

Happy Birthday to me, I'm 24 plus 3! We're going out for dinner with my mom and sister tonight, then out for lunch with some friends on Saturday. I am amazed at where I am in life right now, would never have guessed it 10 years ago. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters. They all make my life fantastic, even if it is a bit stressful sometimes.

Here's a pic of Mark and I from a few weeks ago :) We were at my mom's house... I'm not sure when the last time we got both of us in a picture is :P

Happy? Anniversary

Today is our 4 year anniversary. Hooray for us! However, we don't always have "happy" anniversaries... last year, Mark worked 14 hours on our anniversary. This year, I got a call from the police, attempting to track me down. My Aunt Cathy was taken to hospital with breathing problems this afternoon, and is heavily sedated while they give her antibiotics to clear up an infection in her lungs. So we walked up to Royal Columbian Hospital around 8 (it takes about 3 minutes) to check on her. She's in the ICU, and they're going to keep her completely sedated until the lung infection is gone and they can safely remove the breathing tube they had to put in to help her get enough air. So much for a nice relaxing evening :P

Tomorrow we go to my mom's for the weekend. My cousins Shannon, her husband Carl and their one-year-old daughter Sophie are coming out from Victoria to visit, and I haven't seen them since Shannon was 7 or 8 months pregnant. It will be nice to catch up.

Ouchie!

Kara got her two month shots today. They went as well as could be expected (lots of crying on the part of Kara, and a very concerned big sister). She's now sleeping it off.

After that we went to Superstore. The following exchange began while waiting at the left turn signal on Lougheed, right by the Toys'R'Us:

Chloe: "There's the super store!"
Me: "No sweetie, that's a toy store."
Chloe: "Maybe that's the super store?"
Me: "No, that's a store called Canadian Tire. They have garden stuff, and house stuff, and car stuff."
Chloe: "And Canady stuff!"

I love how simple toddler logic is :)

2 months

I totally missed posting on Kara's 2 month, which was Sunday. And also Mother's Day. My girls sure make me proud/happy to be a mom! We went to White Rock with my mom and sister, it was fun, even though it was cold. Mark made a sand castle with Chloe, and then we watched as the water washed it away. It was lots of fun.

Today is voting day... who are you voting for?

It's been over a week since I updated, because life has been insane. But here are some photos from the past 2 weeks

Sick again

Except this time its Mark. He's home from work and curled up on the couch because that's all he can do.

Kara is 6 weeks old now, and is starting to smile. She doesn't very often yet, but when she does smile, its a huge one, and its SO cute! I'm hoping to catch a picture of it soon...like when Mark isn't sick any more and can hold her and make her smile for the camera (or take a pic, whichever). She was 9lb 4oz at her 6 week checkup yesterday, which means she's 2 lbs heavier than her birth weight. Hooray :)

Infant Potty Training

When Chloe was about 6 months old, I was introduced to the concept of Infant Potty Training, or Elimination Communication. I ordered a book, tried it sporadically for a few months, and ended up not really going with it - though it did convince me to change to cloth diapers so I would know as soon as Chloe was wet and could change her.

Now that we've got a bit of a routine, and everyone is used to having Kara around, I've decided to give it a really good try with Kara. Starting when she's only one month old, I've already noticed the cues she gives before she empties her bladder or has a bowel movement. Based on these, I can take her to the bathroom and hold her over the sink or the toilet and let her eliminate there instead of in a diaper. I still put Kara in cloth diapers because I know there are bound to be misses (times when I misread a cue, or am just too busy to take her to potty). We started on Friday, and since then (while at home), we have caught most of her pees and all of her poos. It is SO nice to not have to change a poopy diaper! I'm loving it, though taking it easy, and not worrying about it too much when we're out, or at night.

I highly recommend all parents of infants look into IPT/EC. It might not be right for you, but it sure makes sense to me. My baby is more comfortable, I'm putting much less waste into the environment, and in theory, Kara will be potty trained by 18 months or so.

One month, and the CBC

Kara is one month old tomorrow. WOW! She's still a little sick, but is doing better. We're not quite to a routine yet, but we are more settled in general. Although, we're still severely lacking sleep (and by "we" I mean all of us).

http://fishyre.blogspot.com/2009/04/and-some.html
I love the CBC. I was very dismayed when they lost the bid to broadcast the 2010 and 2012 Olympics. Now I learn that they aren't getting money (which has happened often and has caused more job cuts), but the government I voted for is set to give money to the big-wigs at the companies that own Global (boo!) and CTV (meh). These companies also own many of the larger newspapers and radio stations, and they're billions of dollars in debt. I really don't want my tax dollars to be used for ANOTHER bailout. PLEASE send your MP an email regarding this issue (especially since many of you live in a riding with a Conservative MP). Maybe we can at least help the CBC get some money as well?

I'll post some pictures later.

Sick

Chloe got a cold, which means that inevitably, Kara got it too. It is so hard to see babies SO young suffering, not able to breathe properly because they're stuffed up. And because she's not even a month yet, the only things I can do are use Saline solution in her nose (which isn't working all that well), and comfort her lots. I took Kara to a walk-in clinic today, and had to wait almost 2 hours to see the doctor. Though I suppose the visit was good - the doctor asked if I was giving Kara Vitamin D supplements, which I haven't been. NO ONE had mentioned it to me before today - not the midwife or the public health nurse!

Anyway, I'm gonna finish up my lunch and then go have a nap.

Thanks!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who came to Kara's baby shower yesterday. I had a great time, and it was really nice to see all of you. Lots of cute clothes to be had, as well as yummy food and an awesome cake made by Briana!

3 weeks of Kara in our life, and all is seeming to go pretty well. Though Chloe had some sort of illness on the weekend. She threw up once on Friday, and had a fever from early Friday afternoon until some time on Saturday. She's still trying to catch up on sleep too, I think.

Oh, can someone please let the various (fictitious) weather gods know that its SPRING now?!?

2 weeks

Kara is two weeks old today (and Chloe is 31 months today as well). We're slowly settling back into a routine with Chloe, and incorporating Kara into it. Having trouble with Kara sleeping long stretches (3.5-4 hours) during the day, and then max 2 hours at a time at night. It's quite frustrating, and I know its affecting Mark's sleep as well.

On a happier note, I got a baby wrap, and I will now sing its praises! With Chloe we tried both a Snugli and a baby sling. The sling was far superior to the Snugli, but still wasn't comfy enough to facilitate full-time babywearing, which is so great for babies. Anyway, this time around, I'm going with a wrap from Phat Baby Wraps, a company out by Cultus Lake. I am so impressed, and so comfy! Kara sure seems happy in the wrap, and I love that I have both hands free!

Also, we're getting cable today. Haven't had it in over a year, and actually haven't paid for it period since we got married. The first place we lived in gave us cable free, and somehow we also got free cable on one of our cable outlets at this place until April or May of last year. I assume that the guys upstairs switched to satellite or some other form of TV programming provider, since we only ever got it in the one spot. Oh well, it will be nice to have channels to flick through again, since its so easy when you're as tired as we are.

Sisters

Chloe had a great time playing on the floor with Kara today.

Tuesday, March 10, 2009

Welcome Kara!

Kara Gwendolyn Nicholson, born March 10 at 1:24pm, 7lbs 3 oz.

A much shorter labour than Chloe's. We tried for a home birth, but ended up going to the hospital for the last half hour. We came home 4 hours after Kara was born - I really like having a midwife instead of a doctor. Overall, things went well, and mom & baby are both doing very well, but are very tired.

Typing one handed is hard :P

SNOW?!?!?!

I think this is officially the last thing we expected the weather to do today, especially given the fact that it was sunny when we left for groceries at 2, and its now 3:40 and snow has been falling for at least 20 minutes.

I hope you all remembered to set your clocks forward, Daylight Savings started today. I still don't quite understand why we still have DST... I understand why they put it into practice, but that was over 50 years ago, and the "war effort" has long since ceased. Oh well, one of those (many) things we have to live with even though it doesn't really make sense.

Mark and I went to see "Watchmen" yesterday afternoon. It was a good movie, though I don't think it will ever make it onto my "great movies" list because of its 18A rating.

Also, for posterity/interest, here is a picture of me from earlier this afternoon with my huge belly. That way I can say "oh wow" in three weeks :P

C is for Cookie (and Chloe, and chocolate)

Chloe and I made chocolate cookies this evening. Making cookies with Chloe is one of my favorite things to do. She loves putting on her apron (which my mom made), helping dump all the ingredients in, and mixing stuff with the beaters. Of course, she also likes eating the dough and the cookies too!

I just put Chloe to bed... I know this is one of my last few nights where I'll have free time before I go to sleep... the baby is coming any day now. I think Chloe is excited to meet the new baby, but I know she doesn't quite understand HOW MUCH TIME new babies take. It will be a big adjustment for all of us.

I'll go relax now, I'm not gonna pass this opportunity up.

Getting ready for baby = hard work

Chloe is with Grandma (Danielle's mom) in Victoria this weekend. Its serves multiple purposes: one last Chloe free weekend before baby arrives, lots of clean-up, and rearranging our room and Chloe's room.

Chloe is getting a new big-girl bed (its being delivered tomorrow), and the crib (which we had turned into a toddler bed before Christmas) is now next to our bed so the baby can sleep next to me for the first few months. We also took the time to give our rooms a really good vacuum & dusting, and to clean up all Chloe's toys which were spread on her floor.

In addition to this, we're taking a load of cardboard to the recycling depot, some other stuff to the dump, and a whack-load of books we don't want/need to the Salvation Army. We really just need more space, it seems.

Oh yeah! Last night we went (with Jordy and Juana) to Fleuri's at the Sutton Place Hotel for their all-you-can-eat dessert buffet. It was 10-ish kinds of chocolate squares & cakes, crepes, a chocolate fondue fountain, and ice cream and sorbet. We were there from 8:30 to just before 11, and we had an awesome time eating sweets and visiting. The atmosphere was really nice and the food was good. Be warned though, its very expensive, and is not something we plan on doing very often.

Cousins, and being sick

On Saturday night, we had Chloe's cousin Ava over while her mommy went out for dinner. Here's a great picture of the two of them on our fireplace. They both had a great time. While there is still a mild language barrier (Ava is only 16 months old), it was still a lot of fun watching them interact and play together.

That night, Chloe woke up at 1am with a fever of 38.9C. It seems she picked up the cold I had last week. Her fever has since gone down, but now she has a really nasty cough, and she sounds so funny when she talks. We had lazy days yesterday and today, and a lazy evening with daddy as well.

Tomorrow is two weeks to my due date. I sure hope we can get everything ready on time...

Friday, February 20, 2009

Well, here goes

You know, I tried the Live Journal thing a few years ago, and let it fall by the wayside. Really, only my Lethbridge friends knew about it anyway. I'm starting this now in an attempt to keep everyone updated on our lives now that we're going to have TWO kids O.o 2.5 weeks to go to my due date of March 10!

I'm at home right now trying to get over a cold, and Chloe is watching Dora the Explorer. While I don't like "TV" that much, but it sure is a life-saver when I feel as icky as I have the last few days. It's also really neat to watch Chloe interacting with Dora, answering her questions and telling me what will happen/has happened.

Mark is still working making props for Stargate. They're in pre-production for Stargate: Universe, which starts filming soon and will be on TV this fall. Its lots of work, but its also rewarding. I still think Mark has one of the coolest jobs EVAR.
